E3, 34Mbps multiplexer multiplexes 16, 2Mbps E1 electrical tributries into one 34Mbps electrical stream conforming to all applicable G.703, G.823 and G.831 ITU-T (CCITT) recommendations. Available with TCP/IP Remote Access Server for remote access and monitoring.

E3, 34Mbps Optical Line Transmission equipment (OLTE)

E3, 34Mbps Opti Multiplexer, multiplexes / demultiplexes 16, 2mbps E1 electrical tributaries into a 34Mbps optical stream, transmitting on a 1310nm (1500nm optional) optical fiber to establish an optical transmission link between locations. E2 (4E1) Opti Multiplexer

E2 (4E1), 8Mbps optical line transmission and 2/8 Mbps digital multiplexer multiplexes / demultiplexes 4, E1 channels and transports it on optical fiber cable. Implemented as an integrated solution. This equipment by-passes the 8MB electrical output to directly provide an optical output.   Available in a stand-alone shelf configuration (2U, 19-inch rack mount shelf).

LAN-to-LAN IP Bridge

The IP·Tube E2 is used to interconnect Ethernet LANs through an IP network. Ethernet frames that are destined for a device located on the remote network are encapsulated into IP packets. The IP packets, with the encapsulated Ethernet frames, are sent to the IP address of the destination network's IP·Tube E2 where the IP envelope is removed and the original Ethernet Frames are delivered to the destination network's Ethernet device.

LAN-to-LAN Interconnect with Data Rate Governor

The LAN·GOV is used to interconnect Ethernet LANs through a data rate governor. The data rate governor utilizes Time Division Multiplexing based clocking to provide for Nx64, NxT1 and NxE1 bandwidth regulation that is configurable from 64 kilobits up to DS3

Governing the WAN bandwidth utilized by an Ethernet LAN enables the reservation of WAN bandwidth for time sensitive real time connections such as those required by Video Conferencing, Voice Over IP and T1/E1 Over IP applications.
