PRODUCT OVERVIEW
 E1,
DCME, Voice Compression Equipment provides 30, Toll-Quality, very clear and sharp, voice
channels using an 8:1 compression ratio, for long-distance telephony, in a bandwidth of
256 Kbps. This is accomplished using an advanced, DSP based Viterbi decoder with automatic
Voice / Silence detection (VAD) and adaptive comfort noise (CNG) generation.
The E1, DCME has an in-built Echo
Cancellor (128ms. echo cancellation card).
The interface to the local PSTN
Network is ITU-T, G.703, G.704 compliant E1 with Signaling support for R2 CAS Digital
Signaling, PRI ISDN Signaling and SS7 Signaling.
